Peerkat’s software for NFT data services and tooling has been accepted into the first ever Amazon Web Services (AWS) FinTech Accelerator for the UK market.

The FinTech focused programme organised by AWS and supported by Vestbee will bring the best of Amazon’s infrastructure and partner network to some of the most innovative startups in the UK and Ireland.

The programme begins tomorrow and will be supported by Vestbee, one of the largest European platforms for startups, along with a global community of VC funds, corporates and business angels including Next Road Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Mouro Capital, Finch Capital, HSBC, Global Founders Capital, Breega, Anthemis Group, Burda Principal Investments, Outward VC, Dawn Capital, Augmentum Fintech, BlackFin Capital Partners, VentureFriends, Accel, QNBEYOND, Eight Roads, Onfido, Marvin Liao, Episode Six, Growth Spin, Uncapped, and EBRD.

Greg Hannam, CEO and Co-Founder of Peerkat said:

“We are honoured to be chosen in the inaugural UK cohort for this accelerator alongside some extremely exciting startups who are at the leading edge in FinTech innovation.

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) present a fundamental shift in how creators, artists and brands can monetize their IP, but the tools for getting the best out of these assets are still nascent. We have seen first hand that there is a huge demand for more robust NFT analytics capabilities and tooling, along with the potential to provide financial services to token holders”

The accelerator will last for 6-weeks concluding with a Demo Day on 27 October, for updates on our progress make sure to follow @PeerkatOfficial
